We are looking for a UX Designer for the Efigence team. We have been operating on the market for nearly 30 years, helping financial institutions (such as banks, insurers and investment funds) create solutions that change the experience of millions of people. It is in our DNA to redefine the market and products and to look for non-standard solutions. We work on complex projects and have recognizable clients in areas outside banking too.

What is it like to work with us?

  • We work in a multidisciplinary team: UI, UX, research, motion designers, business analysts and devs

  • Our design approach is based on an original process – you will learn how to build innovative solutions that change the market, build businesses, and alter user behavior

  • We provide simple onboarding in our daily work, covering the design process, work products, and a who’s who, plus hardware and software preparation

  • You will work with leaders who will not only find you the right role in a project but will also support you in your daily work

  • We will periodically talk about your career, current work, and your development (through a transparent evaluation process)

  • Two days per month (during working hours) will be devoted to training and preparing a case study for your portfolio

  • We offer access to up-to-date training

  • Once per month we host a UX Breakfast where we integrate and share knowledge from our projects

  • Once per year, the entire team participates in one of the major UX conferences

  • We work with Apple hardware and modern design tools in agile methodologies

  • Remote work is fine for us, but we have a well-connected, modern, green office in Warsaw if you like to meet with a team


Your responsibilities

  • Working through all steps of the UX and UI workflow.

  • Designing mobile and web apps for both: startups and enterprise level companies, including fintechs and banks.

  • Gathering and evaluating user requirements during workshops

  • Working alongside the client to define the project vision

  • Mapping user flows, defining information architecture, designing user flows

  • Creating clean, functional, usable and development ready user interface

  • Creating interactive prototypes

  • Working with design systems - using existing ones and building your own

  • Working with an advanced and highly experienced team including great UX Design Leads

  • Setting up and runing usability tests and user-interviews, prepare research reports and design recommendations



  • 2+ year of professional design experience. Portfolio is a must

  • Knowledge of one or more design tools: Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch

  • Knowledge of the methodology of designing and conducting usability tests

  • The ability to present solutions both within the team and to the client

  • Good command of English (B2/C1+ would be great)


Good to have

  • Completed studies in UX

  • Attendance on UX courses

  • Willingness to speak in public and write UX articles

  • Basic knowledge around development and technology

  • Analytical thinking

  • Understanding of the specifics of the financial/fintech market
