Digital Wallet – Raiffeisen Polbank’s mobile banking application designed by Efigence

Raiffeisen Polbank, one of the largest banks on the Polish market, has provided its clients with a completely new, lightweight and simple Digital Wallet. It is a mobile banking application that is a fully functional personal finance management center operated from a smartphone. The solution has been designed in cooperation with Efigence, one of the leading companies on the Polish market specializing in the design of user-friendly interfaces and the delivery and implementation of innovative technological solutions for digital banking.

Mobile Wallet is an application that aims to make clients’ lives easier. It allows you to manage finances and make payments conveniently, quickly and safely, e.g. paying by BLIK or contactless payments (Google Pay and Apple Pay). It allows loging using TouchID and FaceID as well. The mobile banking application has a number of other functions useful in everyday life – including buying public transport tickets in a convenient way, paying parking fees, exchanging currency or using the shopping and loyalty program. Further development of the application is planned – mobile authorization, push notifications, click-to-call service and many other facilities will be implemented.

The purpose of the Digital Wallet mobile banking application is to facilitate customers’ daily activities while offering them the highest level of security.

- Marek Lesiak, President & CTO of Efigence

“When designing user experience and user interfaces, we made sure that the app contains only necessary functions. Thanks to this, it has become light, transparent and the use of it is quick and intuitive. The Mobile Wallet – which is available for iOS and Android users – uses the latest technologies and is a completely secure solution. It also does not save any data on the user’s phone, which minimizes the risk of unauthorized access in case of device loss.” – adds Marek Lesiak.
By autumn 2018, customers will be able to use the previous version of the mobile banking application in parallel with the Digital Wallet. Ultimately, the Digital Wallet will fully replace it.
